Ajisen is already well-known nationwide as a restaurant serving "Taiwan Ramen," which is considered a Nagoya dish. So, what other menu items do you like besides "Taiwan Ramen"? I'm sure each of you has your own "Ajisen staple." In fact, the grand menu at Ajisen Dai Nagoya Building Branch has a total of 26 items. I've taken on the dream challenge of trying all the items on the menu. Enjoy discovering new dishes you've never tried before.

26 carefully selected items from the standard menu of "Ajisen Imaike Main Branch"

It's so popular that there are often lines at lunchtime.[Ajisen Dai Nagoya Building Store]is a branch of the Ajisen Imaike Main Branch. Therefore, out of the many popular menu items at Ajisen Imaike Main Branch, they offer only 26 items, tailored to the size and facilities of the Dai Nagoya Building branch. Knowing that conquering the entire menu is within reach, three women decided to try it. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of 26 carefully selected items, ranging from the signature "Taiwan Ramen" (900 yen), the "Stir-fried Greens" (850 yen), which many customers consider the "Ajisen Starter," and the "Egg Bag" (850 yen), which has a loyal following. From a la carte dishes perfect for drinking to hearty rice and noodle dishes, the menu is packed with delicious choices. First, the three chose three dishes that caught their eye: "Sweet and Sour Pork" (1,350 yen), a surprisingly under-the-radar Ajisen menu item; "Clam Ramen" (1,300 yen), which some say they prefer to Taiwanese ramen; and "La Rou Jiang Noodles" (1,100 yen), a noodle dish they had never seen before.

The spiciness and deliciousness that stimulates the appetite is what Ajisen is all about

When talking about Ajisen, spiciness is essential. The menu is packed with "spicy and delicious" dishes, including "Taiwan Ramen," "Mapo Doh" (950 yen), "Chicken Wings" (600 yen), "Stir-fried Clams" (1,000 yen), and "Pickled Cucumber" (600 yen). Even if you know the food is spicy, you'll find yourself craving it, captivated by the deliciousness that transcends the spiciness. Of course, the restaurant also offers Chinese staples like "Gyoza" (600 yen), "Spring Rolls" (850 yen), and "Fried Chicken" (1,350 yen). We recommend enjoying a variety of dishes with a group, starting with a mild main course like "Ramen" (900 yen), "Char Siu Ramen" (1,100 yen), or "Fried Rice" (900 yen), as well as alcohol. While the usual standard courses are great, trying something new from the menu every once in a while will surely open up new avenues at Ajisen. The bill for all 26 dishes came to 24,650 yen. Be sure to come back often and try all the menu items!

The first dish that caught my attention was the "Stir-fried Green Vegetables" (850 yen). It is no exaggeration to say that the "Stir-fried Green Vegetables" is the starting point of Ajisen's popular menu.

Don't let your guard down when trying the "Ko-bukuro" (850 yen), as the spiciness hits you later.

"La Rou Jiang Noodles" (1,100 yen) is a dish where the minced meat in a thick sauce clings well to the noodles. If you can handle spicy food, we recommend the "Taiwan Bowl" (950 yen), which lets you directly enjoy the deliciousness of the Taiwanese minced meat on top of Taiwanese ramen.
