As the name "Robata" (fireside grill) suggests, the restaurant specializes in dishes cooked over a fireside grill. The fact that the lunch menu includes grilled mackerel and salted mackerel shows how well fireside grilling and fish dishes go together. The "Japanese-style Acqua Pazza with Seasonal Fish" is a new menu item where seasonal fish grilled over the fireside is served with seafood such as clams and scallops in a flavorful broth. The colorful and textural accents of vegetables such as bell peppers and zucchini also add a nice touch.[Naniwa Robata Star Anise]These unique and innovative fish dishes pair perfectly with Japanese sake.
