"Pork Sundubu" (Lunch 1,265 yen, Dinner 1,580 yen)

3F | Korean Food & Sake Shop Daidai | Korean cuisine

[Korean Food and Drink House Daidai]The "Pork Sundubu" available here is a popular dish where you can choose from two types of base soup: miso and salt. This time, we chose the miso, which adds a deep richness and mellowness to the soup. Of the four levels of spiciness available, from level 1 to 4, the most popular is level 2. It uses "Tategi," a Korean blended seasoning made from carefully selected chili powders, resulting in a deep flavor that is mild at first bite, but then gradually builds up with a spiciness. The soup is packed with ingredients, including smooth tofu, flavorful pork, enoki mushrooms, fried tofu, onions, green onions, and chives! Incidentally, if you choose the salt soup, the spiciness is sharper, and the chives are replaced with zucchini, offering a different taste experience. It's an authentic, spicy Korean dish that you'll want to eat in the summer, and you can enjoy it with your preferred seasoning.

A famous restaurant known as the birthplace of Mapo Tofu.[Chen's Mapo Tofu]Chen Mapo Tofu is synonymous with Sichuan cuisine. Characterized by their vibrant red color and sharp aroma when fully ripe, one bite delivers a powerful numbing sensation (ma), yet the aftertaste is surprisingly refreshing!
